As I look back on the last year I realize that I have so much to be grateful for. A loving wife, the birth of my first grand-child, my nephew coming home from the war alive, and all the people in my life who have loved me and put up with all my s#*t. So happy day to all you turkeys!!

What's up Devil Dogs,
I talked to Tim Hunter today and he is doing well in the great North West wilderness of Oregon. He had some great ideas about the re-union and I hope you guys start voicing your ideas so we can make this the best re-union possible. >>>>George, Tim stated that he could not get on the updated Blog cite so if you or Dale could assist him that would be great.

As for me, I am considering taking an administrative OIC position to get more acclimated to the "paper pushing" aspects of Law Enforcement. If I've learned one thing over the past year it's that as much as I'd like to, I will not be able to be a field officer forever. My body just will not allow me to run, grapple, and hook & book, like I used to. Maybe it's time to leave that sh*t to the young bucks. Well, maybe I could still squeeze a couple more years out of the old shell casing. Being an office pouge is against everything I stand for, (hahahaha). And thus I grow.......

Yeah I saw the movie. It was lukewarm and one I could have waited to come out on DVD. George was doing OK the last time I talked to him. I hope that is still the case. >>>> Dale, I've been busy as all get out lately but I still want to come see Hotlanta. Maybe the first of the year when the Spring weather breaks. Got Westpoint Leadership training until January. Theories on leadership... Bah!!!! Nothing a few years in the suck couldn't teach you. >>> Grandpa Woody, I hope you are feeling better. I am finally back in the gym and feeling a lot better physically. For a while there I was feeling sixty years old. Back pains, knee pains, gout, etc. were the order of the day. Thank God for his mercy. Well that's enough for now. You guys finish your week strong and productive as I remain.........

Not to much new. Have Dr. appt. mon about shoulder, grand baby is beautiful, takes after grandpa of course! Haven't heard anything from George on the post, where you hiding? The Marine Corps b-day is coming, can't believe it will also be the one year anniversary of my nephew being wounded in Iraq. Hope all is well in everybody's life, hard to believe that the holidays are just around the corner. As allways I remain your brother and fellow jarhead.

Good Friday to all you Jarheads. It has been a while since I have
posted anything. Almost a month I see. And what the heck happened
to George? Well I know he has had a set back with those Statin drugs
that the doctors keep wantin him to take. He went to the Doc and let
them talk him into taking another type. Well his body didn't like that
kind anymore than some of the others he has taken. His hand swelled up
so much he couldn't use it. And I talked with him yesterday and now
his foot is swelled some. All from one pill he took weeks ago. Forgive
me G if I have stated anything wrong. I don't know why he isn't online.
Maybe the satellite isn't up and running. He hasn't worked much since
the body swelled.

Things are going well here in the big A. I'm still wating on u to come visit Dave.
Did u ever decide if you are coming east for a visit?

The last fall baseball game was played last night for Austin. 7-4-2 record.
Trevor finished a couple weeks back. They were 12-2.
