Thanks for the lecture Pete. I really didn't need to read all that stuff. This blog was set up by George as a way for the Dragons to communicate with each other when we started to get back in touch back in '02'. There are plenty of other places out on the internet that you can find to get into political debate and talk all of the Socio-European garbage. As far as I can tell, everyone from the Dragon's that I served with, minus you of course, are still loyal American's, and really don't want to be lectured by you. I would appreciate you holding your opinions to yourself or find some other place on the internet to share them with someone who really cares what you think.

Here's a link I got from Karen, George's lady. It's a little
video of our troops in Iraq. George recently relocated and
isn't back online yet. I imagine we will see him back online
soon.

Does everyone have their vacation plans ironed out for the
summer? We are taking a trip up to Williamsburg, VA the week
after the boys get out of school. Bush Gardens and a little
bit of history. maybe a trip down to the Naval shipyard at
Virginia Beach.

Dave, it's called passing the tourch, give the youger guys a chance.
I Know when I was still climbing poles the hardest thing to do was to watch
an apprentice try to do something that I could do better and faster.
It was even harder to watch from the ground when I made foreman.
Now that I'm in Distribution Design I wouldn't go back. But I'm sure glad I
did it.
Leaving for Hawaii on Monday for 1 week, to see my niece get married.
Should be fun have'nt been there since I got married in '85.
Y'all take care,
SB

Thanx Pete,
I must be getting Old Guys.
Last night I was involved in a use of force and as I'm groundfighting with this 25 year old kid hopped up on crack and God knows what else, it occurs to me that I am actually getting too old for this shit. It's time to settle into a nice cushy office job and tell war stories around the water cooler. Woke up this evening sore and scratched up but none the worse for wear. We fought for five minutes but it seemed like an hour and this kid was strong as an ox. Almost bucked me a couple of times but that old Parris Island OOOHHHRRRAAAAHHH!!!! adrenalin kicked in and the tide was turned. So guys as I face the inevitable fact that my street fighting days are numbered, I want you all to know that the once fast running bundle of energy you once knew is slowly but gracefully turning into a not so fast, rapidly heading towards middle age, administrator,(office speak for PAPER PUSHER!). Hope you all are having great lives and enjoying whatever you're doing as much as I am. God is good and Life is great for now.

Semper Fi,

Dave
