Calling Andy Crout! Come in SgtMjr. Crout! It has been a long time since you have
had anything to say to your comrades, since Mid April to be exact, when you went up to visit
Camp Hansen. It must be setting hot over there by now. We all remember those dog
days of summer on The Rock. What is the plan of action for Iraq? Any word on how
long our boys are going to be over there? Only 44 days and a wake up and we will all be
in Philly talking behind your back about the trash you used to talk. Too bad you can't make it.
I'll get plenty of pictures posted on the web site when I get back. I guess I'll have to create a new page,

Yeah Pete, I quit 11 years ago
and have'nt looked back since.
I think I drank enough to but a couple
of the Anheiser Bush kids through college. LOL

There is one more on board for the reunion. I heard from Peter 'Lefty' Tallardy today.
He says he is in and will be there for the reunion. He is a paper pusher for the
Connecticut National Guard. He actually made it up to E7. And he works in a
Combat Engineering Unit and is getting close to having his twenty years in for retirement
eligibility. And Tim Richards says he has located Jim Kloss, the California Highway Patrol
is in our midst.
Welcome aboard guys.

No Prob Dale,
I quit drinking but I guess you
guys bought enough rounds for me in the
past so I'll kick in a few extra bucks.
George mentioned the possibilty of'
obtaining an extra room just in case. I said I would
contribute but have not heard anything about it since then.
Keep me posted.

Good morning Marines. It has been quiet on the Blog for a while now. George
hasn't been posting much, so I figured I would get on here and put a bug in
everyones ear concerning the subject of money for our upcoming reunion. I'm still
waiting to talk with Mik, hopefully tonight, so I don't have an amount I can talk about
specifically, but everyone needs to prepare themselves to send Mik some money so
he can take care of the dinner arrangements for Saturday night. There are 21 of us who
have said they are coming so it is going to be imperative that everyone be prompt in forking
up the green when you here from me next. It will be by electronic communication except
for those that have confirmed and aren't online, like Bubba or Dave Sterling. The round figure
I threw out last time was around $60/per person for dinner and open bar for five hours. 7 to 12 PM
That will keep everything inside the hotel so no one has to take any chances going to and from
somewhere else after they have been drinking. Stay tuned for more info very soon, cause
I know the hotel is going to require three weeks lead time with cash in hand before they
make arrangements for our reunion. Dig deep and consider sending in an
extra twenty dollars on top of whatever the cost of dinner ends up being, to cover any other
incidentals that Mik needs to take care of. I don't want him having to come out of pocket
for something we should all be sharing in the cost of. And I am sure there is something he
will have to pay for if we want this thing to work out good for all. Stay tuned
