Sex is in the air
To all my northeast brothers a note of caution. Along with the changing colors of the leaves, the shorter days and colder nights, another change is in the air. No longer concerned with lounging in some thicket awaiting the next mealtime, God's greatest wild creation-Odecolious Virginianus-the whitetailed deer, is now on a new mission. The continuation of the species. And as November ushers in the breeding season, a time of the celebration of life, it is also a time of death. A million and a half deer vs vehicle collisions every year, billions in insurance claims for damages and hundreds of lives lost. Be aware, the deer are on the move. Bucks are traveling far and wide in search of estrous does, and does are running ragged avoiding all the potential suitors. Hunters (like me) are also keeping them on the move. If you live in deer country, now is a good time to really be watching out for them. Just as we kill them, they too can kill us. The only difference is that when we kill them--WE MAKE JERKY. Don't worry Dave, as soon as lead meets flesh I'll have some headed out your way. This post comes to you from the Keystone state where the colored leaves are falling and both flaura and fauna are preparing for the long, harsh winter that is to come. God bless all my Dragon brothers (Woody too), I hope you are all well. Mik

My Two Cents
Well, I notice that is has been awhile since I have taken the time to post
so I figured I would log-on and say Hey. You're right George, you do post
too much. (just joking) But then you also spend twice as much time online
as any of the rest of us, unless of course you count the ten hours a day that
I spend logged on while I'm at work. Oh, for the life of an internet junkie.
I guess the rest of us are just a 'bunch of #2 pencils in an internet world'.
(I stole that, so don't go giving me credit if you're laughing)
It's been a long, long time since we have heard anything from Sgt Estes.
What's going on out there in the great Northwest Steve?
How's the truck delivery business Woody? Haven't heard from you for a few weeks.
Life as usual here in Georgia. Both boys playing fall baseball
with only a week or two left to go. It looks like we are going
to have a pretty good HS JV team this next spring if this fall
is any indication. The only losses they have are against Senior
teams that they played. Austin is having a pretty good season
also. He has been catching and pitching.
Gotta run, Semper FI

This should be the conduit for the next reunion, give Bomer and Co. all the help you can.
Oh, Have a productive week also.
Bomer, Love Ya Man, great to hear about your boys.

Hey Andy!!!!
Just saw your post from 9-30-04. I don't know how I missed it. Anyway the boys are doing fine in football. My eldest son is a team captain & running back/OS Linebacker in high school. My 12 y/o son is the same for pop warner. My 9 y/o is the phenom, a quarterback with madddd skills and one helluva middle linebacker as well as team captain. As you can see I am one proud Poppa. All future Marines I hope. I know they'll make it past E-3....LOL

Howdy from Woody!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Did you guy's done south ride out all the weather allright? Ron/George don't stop your posting of political humour, even though I don't agree with alot of it, it is what make's this country so wonderfull to live in. Imagine if we lived elsewhere we could be shot just for speaking our minds. I did'nt notice any comment's about the debate I realize some of us have gotten a little pissy, includeing myself about the political comments on this page but a little back and forth can't hurt. Ron I hope you are doing better, how about those Eagle's my boy's the 49er's are really sucking this year. Andy since you were a dragon and I was an 81 you probably don't remember me but it's nice to hear you are more comfortable on the rock than we were 20 something years ago. Who ever mentioned FEBA if you were talking about the dog that was me that found it on the beach but you guy's adopted it because some hard ass in the 81's would'nt let us keep it. That's it for now once again thank all of you for your well wishes regarding my nephew in Iraq. Take care all!!!!
