I'm where I'm supposed to be. The VA has/is done/doing an outstanding job of it.
I now have wall to wall health care, and they are fixing everything, I have quite a few appointments with different departments, and that alone eases the depression issue.
Most of the Nursing staff are Medics or Corpsman, who were in when we were.
Hey George,
You didn't go awol did you?
What happen to 3 weeks?
Don't rush it! Take care & get better.

Good Times abound for me and mine. I just wanted to
share some news concerning George. To save time on
typing I am going to copy the last email that I got from
Karen. Before I do I will just tell you that he has been
drinking too mch and suffering some serious clinical
depression. There is some contact info at the bottom
of Karens email if anyone cares to try and contact him
while he is in the Hospital. Take care Jarheads.
I am excited and relieved that Ronnie is where he is now. I am not a religious person but if I were I would thank the lord so maybe you can do that for me. I am not surprised by their services but it was just a fluke that he got in so quick. I originally called the Medical center but was on hold too long. I was able to find the Vet center from an obscure link from the main site. They answered right away and listened and made an appointment for 2 days later. Only 2 days later that is just amazing. Well when I brought him there the man heard Ron and spent 45 minutes with us. He then said he only dealt with combat victims and couldn't see him regularly. Someone willing to spend that kind of time when he knew he could nothing from the get go. Another amazing thing to me. He actually did help because he spelled out exactly what needed to be done. Ron was a walking zombie so it was up to me. We went to the medical center right after that. I explained the whole thing to the receptionist and bang the ball was rolling. No waiting for appointments in 3 weeks etc. When he went yesterday the counselor immediately recognized that this was life or death and made the right decision. I had him there about 1:30. They thought I was married to him. I didn't correct them because I would have been pushed out and like I said Ronnie was a walking zombie and needed me. Anyway, they finally took him up (in a wheelchair he asked for) at 4pm. They will know how to get to him unlike a civilian place. So I hope he can get the big do over that he deserves. One last thing, since he will be there for about 3 weeks here is his address. There is also a pay phone that rings and just ask for Ron and I guess they will go find him. I haven't tried it yet.

Hump Day and all is well. Hope every one is having a productive week. Anybody heard from "Sgt. Rock" Mulcahey?

Actually, if you look real close at the guard in the furry hat
you will see a strong resemblance to Steve T's jaw line.
Could it be him and he just told us all that he works for some
lumber company out in Washington?

Welcome back George, hope things are going your way.
Congratulations Dave, do we have to call you "Sir" now that you
recieved a field commision? Watch your back, those guys have nothing
to lose and I need help with the sequel.
Oh yeah it rained in L.A., "believe it or not"
Have a good week.
